Epica's album "The Quantum Enigma" is a huge winner in the symphonic metal category. They have recorded a brillant album full of walls of instruments and choruses. Great melodies, guitar solos, catchy chorus hooks, keyboard solos, a huge orchestral performance. There is much to listen to in this 70 minute release. The singer, Simone Simons, has a great voice and she shows off her operatic abilities. All the songs flow very well. It seems it were a concept album for moments because the of the order of the songs. The production is top notch. Outstanding songs are: "Originem", "The Second Stone", "The Essence of Silence", "Ünchain Utopia", "The Quantum Enigma"(which is the second part of the song "The Kingdom of Heaven") and the bonus track "Banish Your Illusion". Epica has released their best album. This is a symphonic metal masterpiece
