I was really surprised by this album. I love older Kings of Leon albums (the ones before they got so popular). While they may never get back to their less refined roots as heard on "Aha Shake Heartbreak" or "Youth and Young Manhood" they certainly try on this album compared to their more radio played albums. "Rock City" and "Supersoaker" on this album are upbeat and are reminiscent of their earlier albums. Other songs on the album are slower and don't have as much guitar which makes for a great blend of music for those of us that loved their earlier albums and those that only recently heard of them on the radio.
Another great album from Kings of Leon. A mixture of slower tracks and more upbeat to keep you going. Defiantly had to listen to it a few times before really getting into it. I was a little unsure to start with apart from one or two songs but while listening through it several times it has really grown on me and I think they have delivered another great album.
My only song that i am not a fan of is 'Family Tree" It reminds me a little of Jack Johnson and his songs for Curious George, it just sounds to like his A to Z song, but other a cracking album for anyone into Kings of Leon

This is a grower. The more you listen the more you like. Defo one for the car. A little slow earlier on other than Supersoaker. However, from track 6 on it's a great listen. Great album and on a par with the Kings other releases.
