Anyone who is a fan of darker 90s alternative rock will enjoy this soundtrack. Decent tracks all around by popular alt-rock mainstays including Filter, Hole, White Zombie, Bush, Korn, Deftones, PJ Harvey, Toadies, Seven Mary Three, NY Loose, Iggy Pop (who was also in the movie), and Tricky; most of which are exclusive to this album. The first two tracks are amazing covers: Hole's harsh grunge rendition of Fleetwood Mac's Gold Dust Woman and White Zombie's trademark horror-metal re-imagining of KC and the Sunshine Band's I'm Your Boogieman. This compilation holds true to the dark mood of The Crow: City of Angels movie from start to finish and is a great listen on a dark, rainy evening.
