Queensryche is finally back with their classic sound. After 7 very weak albums with not much creativity, and 16 years of waiting, the group gets its formula together to write good music again. Gone is Geoff Tate and in is their new singer Todd LaTorre that sounds very similar to Tate. The songs sound like from the "Operation: Mindcrime" era. Best songs are "Where Dreams come to die", "Spore", "In This Light", and "Open Road". One major negative is the mastering of this album. It sounds saturated and takes the joy out of such well performed songs. Hopefully it will be re-mastered so that it can be thoughroughly enjoyed since it is a good album.
